An outdoor heated pool and spa and a recreation room with pool tables, a fireplace and a reading library are available to all guests. The beach itself is full of activities, from volleyball to rollerblading, and there are music festivals on the weekends in the summer. Orangeland RV Park

Orangeland RV Park is located at the very center of Orange County, close to both the beaches and Disneyland. Orangeland offers 195 full hookup sites that are nestled under orange trees and come with free wireless Internet and free cable television connections. A heated swimming pool, a hot tub and a fully equipped fitness center are available for guest use. The clubroom holds a community kitchen as well as pool tables, and a convenience store sells groceries and personal necessities. Orangeland RV Park operates a shuttle to and from Disneyland for its guests once a day during the week and twice a day on weekends.

Anaheim Harbor RV Park

Within walking distance to the front gates of Disneyland, Anaheim Harbor RV Park is a fun, family-friendly park that is very busy year-round. The park offers sites for trailers up to 40 feet that come with full hookups, Internet and cable, and access to laundry and shower facilities. A heated outdoor pool, video arcade and five-hole putting green are available for guest recreation. Its premium sites are 66 feet long and can handle the largest Class A rigs. An onsite sundry store, laundry, playground, pool, showers and restrooms are available. Pets are welcome, with breed restrictions.

Another option is the Anaheim Resort RV Park (anaheimresortrvpark.com), one mile from Disneyland. Offering 150 landscaped campsites, the park can handle RVs up to 70 feet in length. Sites offer full hookups with 20-, 30- or 50-amp electrical service. Park amenities include an outdoor pool, spa and the onsite RV Café serving complimentary coffee and newspapers each morning. Pets are welcome, but certain breeds are restricted. Catch the Anaheim Resort Shuttle outside the park entrance. Tickets for Disneyland and other selected Anaheim attractions are available at the RV park office.

Newport Beach – Luxury RV Resort

The Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina (newportdunes.com) covers 110 acres next to Newport Beach’s Back Bay Nature Preserve. A mile of sandy beach fronts the park, while the onsite swimming lagoon and beach playground are perfect for youngsters. In addition to 382 RV sites, the resort offers 24 furnished cottages with full bathrooms. Family-friendly activities include movies on the beach during the summer, cardboard boat races and an Easter egg hunt. Choose to take sailboat lessons or a guided nature tour by kayak. Santa Ana Canyon – A Wilderness RV Experience

Roughly eight miles east of Anaheim, the Canyon RV Park (canyonrvpark.com) offers a wilderness camping experience on the banks of the Santa Ana River. The park has 140 RV sites and can accommodate rigs up to 45 feet long. Each site is large enough for slide-outs, shaded, surrounded by grassy areas and offers a picnic table and fire ring. Some sites are riverfront. A swimming pool, laundry room, convenience store, multiple bathhouses and an amphitheater are also available. Campers have access to the Santa Ana River Bike Trail. Ten cabins are also available, each with private bathroom. Cabin campers need their own bed linens and toiletries. Pets are welcome, with breed restrictions.

City of Orange – RV Park Meets Orange Grove

Orange County was once a sea of orange groves. The city of Orange was in the center of this citrus paradise and the Orangeland RV Park (oreangeland.com) does its best to remind you of that fact. Not only will you find 195 paved RV sites with full hookups, but you also are encouraged to pick oranges from the trees that shade those sites. The entire park, built on the site of an old orange grove, is one fragrant experience. Also available are a heated swimming pool, hot tub, workout room, sundry store, mini golf course and a number of games. Pets are welcome, with a few breed restrictions. The park provides a dog walking area and a dog washing station. Orangeland RV Park is roughly five miles from Disneyland and other Anaheim attractions.
